Everything you need to know about ordering your custom prescription lenses.
Ordering & Compatibility
We currently support all 5 Ray-Ban Meta frame models: Wayfarer M (50-22), Wayfarer L (53-22), Skyler (52-20), Low Bridge Fit Headliner (51-23), and Headliner (50-23). Both Generation 1 and Generation 2 frames are compatible.
No! You keep your frames. We craft replacement lenses based on your prescription values and frame model. Once your lenses are ready, we ship them directly to you and you (or an optician) can install them.
No — Provocateur sells prescription lenses only. The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses frames are not included. You purchase your frames separately through Ray-Ban or Meta, and we provide the custom prescription lenses.
Check the inside of your temple arm — the model number (e.g. RW4006, RW4008) is usually printed there. You can also check your Ray-Ban Meta packaging or the Ray-Ban website. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll help.
Your Prescription
Your prescription is provided after an eye exam by your optometrist or ophthalmologist. It will include SPH (sphere), CYL (cylinder), AXIS, and usually a PD (pupillary distance). If you can't find your prescription, contact your eye doctor — you're legally entitled to a copy.
Some prescriptions don't include PD. You can ask your optometrist to measure it, or use the free GlassesON app on your smartphone to measure it yourself at home. Alternatively, contact us and we can guide you through the process.
No — uploading your prescription is optional. You can enter all your values manually in the form. However, uploading a copy helps us verify your values and may prevent any errors, so we do recommend it if you have it handy.
We support SPH from -15.00 to +15.00, CYL from -8.00 to +8.00, AXIS from 0 to 180, and ADD from +0.75 to +4.00. If your prescription falls outside these ranges, please contact us for a custom quote.
Production & Shipping
Clear, tinted, and polarised single vision lenses are produced in 1–4 business days. Photochromic lenses take 3–5 business days. Progressive lenses require 1–2 weeks due to the precision craftsmanship involved. Shipping time is additional.
Every order includes your pair of custom prescription lenses with premium anti-glare, scratch-resistant, and UV400 coatings, plus a storage case and a premium microfiber cleaning cloth.
Payment
After you submit your order, we'll reach out to confirm all your details and send you a payment link or handle. We accept CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. We don't process card payments directly on the site at this time.
You won't be charged until we've confirmed your order details are correct and you've approved everything. We'll reach out after you submit your order to verify and process payment before we begin production.
